Ashanti was spotted on the beach this past week in Barbados with her son and husband. She is such an adorable mommy and seeing her in the mommy role is so exciting to see. Ashanti has been very transparent about her post birth body after having her son and how she was being patient with herself after giving birth.

Ashanti herself spoke truth in an interview with HelloBeautiful back in July:

“It was a lot going through a lot of firsts in front of so many people,” she explained. “Becoming newlyweds and getting married and having a child and the postpartum body. I like to be in a bikini on an island, you know what I mean? After having a baby, you go through those things as a woman, and I just feel like I wanted to inspire women that it’s OK, you don’t have to snap back the minute you step out of the hospital room.”

After her pictures were posted on TMZ social media was shocked to see her weight gain, Why do women feel that they owe the internet an explanation about their bodies after giving birth. They don't! Live and let live!
