I had the Honor of attending the BET+ premiere of "Kingdom Business Season 2, and when I tell you it was a treat it was a treat! Kingdom Business is an American musical drama series created and executive produced by John J. Sakmar & Kerry Lenhart, Devon Franklin, and Kirk Franklin and that is just to name a few!
The screening premiere felt like a celebration to me! BET community, gospel singers, and influencers graced the red carpet! Kirk Franklin topped it off with a spectacular performance. He took us to "CHURCH" but it was very inspirational.
The show follows Denita (Yolanda Adams), a gospel superstar who runs the in-house record label Kingdom Records and doubles as First Lady of First Kingdom Church.
Yolanda Adams plays Denita who is protective of her family and its many secrets at all costs. Just as Denita is enjoying the fruits of her labor, the world she’s worked so hard to put together begins to unravel when an unexpected issues start to occur and the truth starts to get out in her family!
Denita (Yolanda Adams) finds herself in a coma and then a miracle takes place!
Rbel (Serayah) is a young woman on the rise whose checkered past as an exotic dancer is no match for her destiny to turn the gospel world on its head with her newfound voice.
Rbel's (Serayah) character really was at a crossroads in her life where she didn't know if she wanted to return back to her old lifestyle or continue to stay on the narrow road of a gospel singer who is not making a lot of money!
I am not going to spoil it but it is going to be an awesome series! Can't wait for season 3! Must watch!
